Rebecca Lynn Jones

Rebecca Lynn Jones, 58 of Sheridan passed away on February 5, 2022, in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born on May 28, 1963, to William Eugene and Karen (Rice) Jones in Noblesville. Rebecca was a graduate of Westfield High School, Class of 1981. She worked at Precision Comfort Systems in Westfield and she cherished the friendships she made there. In 1989 Rebecca met the love of her life David Hamilton and the two of them have been at each other sides for 31 years. She looked forward to traveling to various places with David on their Harley, she found a since of peace riding with the wind hitting her face. The two of them loved to go camping and fishing especially with their grandchildren and her favorite thing was sitting around the campfire watching the wood burn. Rebecca loved to cook and try out new recipes and David along with the rest of her family would be her food tasters. One thing everyone would look forward to was Rebecca baking cookies, pies, and cakes. She could not wait to plant her beautiful garden every year, and at the end of the year she would be found canning everything she would grow in her garden.

David and Rebecca loved being outdoors hanging out with family and friends whether it would be camping, fishing, riding the Harley or grilling the two of them just loved being outdoors. She had a big heart and would enjoy doing things for other people. Rebecca leaves behind her beloved David of 31 years. Their daughter Danielle Hamilton, two grandchildren Hadleigh Hamilton and Cameron Mills. Her loving parents William and Karen Jones. Her devoted sister Gayla (Terry) Hart and her brothers Bryan (Erin) Jones and Pete Jones. Preceding Rebecca in death is her son Matthew Jacob Jones in 2007 and her brothers Michael Jones in 1989 and Rick Jones in 2016. Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 10, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Fisher Family Funeral Services located at 508 E. 6th St. Sheridan, where family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 am till time of service. Burial will follow at Crown View Cemetery. The Rev. Harrell Wilson will be officiating Rebecca service.
