I learned much about Ricks life. Wow. I had been away for some time and got to know him more on facebook. I am sadden to learn of his passing. I wish to convey my feelings respect and grief towards the Cox family which I am related to via Grandma Margaret Purciful-Cox. Barbara and Brian I am sorry this has occured. I hear Barbara that you were a very faithful wife and nurse and advocate for him during his illness. A wonderful model of a virteous woman. Brian I am sure you were a wonderful brother to him and had very close ties. May you find peace and comfort during this time.

Barbara, Cheryl, Brian,
I'm very sorry to hear of Rick's passing. I know he has been sick for a while and I am thankful he no longer suffers. I know he will be missed. Barb, my mother tells me you were a great nurse and took wonderful care of Rick during his illness.
My thoughts are with your family now.

I had not seen Rick over these last several years, but we did see each other about three years ago at the Sheridan Library. I am so happy we at least had that opportunity to see each other and visit. I am sorry for this loss that seems too soon.

I last saw Rick when visiting his dad at the hospital. Each time I saw Rick and his siblings it was just a reminder and a true example of how a family who cares and supports one another can be. Aunt Betty and Uncle Don did a wonderful job in raising such respected children and members of their community. I happened to see Rick more often when we were a bit younger, but Rick always impressed me in the manner he presented and conducted himself. I believe a man of strong morals and honor that did not waiver. I will miss Rick. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers to Barb, the children, grandchildren and Rick's siblings.
